The Ag Week TV is a show that focuses on educating the public about Agriculture issues, new developments and or anything agricultural related. We got to talk with Jenny Schlecht and Emily Beal about their spot on the show as they are some of the shows main TV hosts. They have a paper copy, website, podcast, and the main show for places to see their content. They have integrated using zoom calls to do interviews as an easier and cost-effective way of giving interviews and talking with others.
They started their TV show in 2015, and the Ag Week company
was started in 1985. They informed us that this week is Agriculture Technology week,
so we spoke about other places we visited earlier in the week that had to do
with Agriculture technology.
They have 3 main departments: Editorial, Advertising and Customer
Service. They all work together to produce a TV show to inform the public about
the agriculture industry. The biggest viewers are from Washington DC, Virginia,
and Chicago. They spoke on how they report on tariffs and federal funding as it
is having a major impact on farmers.
